Good UHF reception, horrible VHF reception. I am about forty miles from the broadcast towers. Waste of money. I got this antenna when I bought the digital box converter thing. Works great in Balt/DC area. This was the third antenna I bought in attempt to get an HD signal in my apartment. Because there is no zero stars. I was putting this together when the antenna just broke off. Worse than its own model. I purchased RCA ANT301 to replace the old one, also RCA, bought 5 years ago, that has one of the rods broken. Good, but probably could be better. With this antenna, hi definition channels look really good. Great Value. I was trying to get local HD channels added to my dish network setup. Great for the converter box! Great for the converter box, The powered antenna boots the reception to view more avilable channels. Weak at best. I figured an amplified antenna would be better than a regular one. Absolutely Terrible. This antenna is a huge waste of money.

Over-Priced. I bought this to improve the reception of the ANT110, a much cheaper model that had good reception overall but I wanted much more. Geez, Why did I buy this junk? Purely, all-around, awful performance. Decent antenna. For starters, let me inform you that I've had this antenna for over 2 years now. Don't Buy It! This Antenna has served it's purposed well for me watching basic stations, like Fox, NBC, ABC, and CBS. No better reception than a coax cable. I decided to get rid of cable (too expensive). RCA ANT 301 Stinks. It actually made my reception worse. Almost like cable. I bought 4 amplified antennas to test which one worked the best for my home.

Works indoors. I tried the cheap tv top. Goodbye DirecTV! When I saw how much per month I was paying with DirecTV, I decided see how I could cut that bill. TERK HD Outdoor TV Antenna. The antenna placed outdoors on my roof is the best antenna that I have used in the area that I live in which is SE washington, DC. Poor contruction, incremental signal benefit over indoor antenna. I installed this antenna in the fall. Big disappointment. After reading all the positive reviews, I was very disappointed by the performance of this product. Wow!! I bought this antenna for my mom. Great reception for reflection are. I only live 10 miles from NY city but do not have a direct line of site in the 87 - 93 degree direction I need to pick up local channels. Incredible reception, worth the expense. I had previously purchased the Terk Amplified Indoor HDTV antenna, somehow believing the word "amplified" meant that I would have better reception. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Amazon for a great antenna at a great price. Best of breed. Finding a capable HDTV antenna was a challenge.

Over-rated Antenna. I'm about 15 miles from the TV stations in my area. Application Wrong. I am about 25 miles as the crow flys from the nearest digital broadcast. Best I have been able to find. Since we are seeing HI temperatures below 30 degrees, I have not been able to hook this up outside yet, but I placed it behind my tv and it gets better reception then my previous indoor antenna. Free HDtv Hooked it up this weekend and picture is so clear and sharp. Twice the price, but valuable. After moving to New Orleans I decided to forgo cable and go to over the air television reception. Does what it's designed to do... DTV signal reception is highly direction-dependent. I love this antenna! This antenna is "da bomb"! A final solution to poor signal reception. I went through all sorts of antennae in order to add broadcast HDTV to my existing lineup of satellite channels. Excellent HDTV antenna. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Good UHF, terrible VHF. The UHF reception with this antenna is excellent, but I get better low end VHF from a set of radio shack rabbit ears.

Great HD antenna at superb price via Amazon.com. I live in Kensington, MD which is within the Washington, DC metro area. Very Directional and Unreliable. I bought this item NIB because of initial reviews and installed it about eight weeks ago. Great antenna, probably best out there, but still not 100% I don't have much basis for a comparison, as my only other HD antenna was the unamplified plastic & metal 8" triangle jobbie that came with my receiver. Worth the Money. I love this Antenna! Great product, better then indoor ones. I was first confused by the low db of this outdoor antenna vs. Almost there. Not bad. Great Antenna for my HD locals.... this antenna receive great signal strength even there are trees and other apartments blocking it. Not for me. I would say if you are very far from the station, try something else. I get better reception with rabbit ears. Not much to say. Much better than expected. Being 35 miles from the TV main station antennas I was not expecting much in the way of a signal.

Good value, better than rabbit ears! I just got this antenna hooked up and now have several more channels than my old rabbit ears. Just plain fantastic! For under $100, unbeatable value. I've tried half a dozen indoor ATSC/HDTV antenna models, including 2 Christmas tree types, and none even come close to the Terk HDTV-S (or Winegard SquareShooter, which is identical). Great purchase. This antenna took hours to align and then a windy day came up 2 weeks later and I lost every channel even though it was secure on my roof. Know Its Limitations. The physical design of this antenna makes it very easy to handle especially when you are trying to mount it on the roof. Not for remote areas. Free Local HD, Can't beat it!!! I would recomend this to anyone who is looking for local HD channels and lives with-in about 25 miles of their local tower. Compact but only has15 mile reception. The product said it would receive station up to 50 miles. Great Product. This is a great product. Terk Antenna. For the price I was very surprised it barely pulled in local stations. Very poor performance. I use mythtv with a pchdtv card and the zenith silver hd antenna - $20 throwaway looking internal antenna - way way outperforms this antenna which is like 2+ feet by 2+ feet and a pain to install. Works Terrific. Just purchased this antenna to pull in OTA local standard definition broadcasts since I just switched from cable to a satellite dish. Awesome Antenna. Wow! Best Antenna I have tried. Great buy, great compatibility. We use these in the PC shop where I'm a technician and I also order them here for myself. Great Value. I purchased these to do limited production of my new CD and they really work well. It was not what I ordered I needed CD-RW's For a sony burner. I ordered CD-RW's to use o my Sony burner. A total loss! After seeing the majority of favorable reviews for these, I bought them. Only disk brand I use. Verbatim is the only disk brand I use for DVD and CD. The CD are Good but the Box... I received the Verbatim 100-Disc Spindle CD in good conditions. Good product. Excellent product. 95 % great. Almost every disc I've used has worked great. Simply The Best. I used to think that Maxell was the best. Best CD-Rs are on the market. Memorex, Maxell, TDK, HP, and many other disks are behind verbatim in quality.

The best CDs for the price! This is my second set of the Verbatim CD-Rs. Dissapointed. I've been buying these for a while seems they are getting to be not very dependable. What a deal. What can I say. Teenagers will love ya for it. Can never find an extra blank disc around. Fine blank CD-R media. Verbatim makes a very reliable blank CD-R that can handle up to 700 MB of data or 80 minutes of music. Verbatim CD-Rs. These blank CDs are among the best I have used. Good value for CD-R Verbatim CD-R 80MIN 700MB 52X 100pk Spindle good value to buy. Product is probably fine but Amazon smashed it. The product arrived completely smashed apart. Best of the group. Verbatim's cd and dvds work better then all the other lower priced cds and dvds. Very satisfied. I've only been burning CDs a little over a year. Best available Cd-R media and best price. The best quality CD-Rs are fuji-film and Verbatim. Not Mitsubishi Chemical Corp media. I just got a spindle of these with the same part number from CompusaBusiness. Surprisingly, no errors so far! Can you believe it? Not great but cheap. These discs have trouble playing in older CD players, and there are more than the usual number of defective discs.

Terrible. Most of the CD's in the pack was unusable, actually I have yet to find one that works in the remaining 80 discs or so. Great for saving photos. As a high school teacher, I take photos of all the sporting events, rallies, graduation and so forth. Works with multi-platforms. Belatedly discovered Memorex CDR's were working on my Pioneer players, but not my Sony players. Great So Far. I didn't give 5 stars because I've only burned 2 CDs so far. Best, most reliable CD's. Verbatim makes the best, most reliable media we've ever used. Excellent value. No matter what brand of Cd's one uses, there are always some failures in every box. Cannot go wrong with Verbatim! I have been using various CD/DVD burners, and sometimes certain combinations of blank media and burners have given me troubles. Great product, great price! We use this product on a daily basis and have no complaints at all. Good Value. I never have had a problem with the performance of these CD-Rs and the price can't be beat. Good deal! Have used these for various things, including both data and audio, and rarely have a problem.

Not so great. I have used 12 discs so far and 4 were 'corrupt' already. Great quality, good price. I've burned through about a third of a spindle of these CDs (burning them all on my Mac Pro's SuperDrive) and they've proven perfect - no bad verifications after burning. Verbatim CD-R. Since you ask. Just as good as any other CD-R. Excellent price for the quantity. Don't bother! I had to return the entire spindle, every disc was defective. Great for archiving. (duh) I bought these after buying TDK for the past 5 years and now only being able to get Memorex at a low price (I've had very bad experiences with Memorex CDRs in the past). The Worst CD-Rs I Have Ever Used For Audio CDs. I have been using CD-Rs since 1999 and have never had as much of a problem with CD-Rs as these.

Good quality disks. I don't know what the first reviewer is talking about, but the disks I received were made in singapore. Verbatims spotty quality now--- The problem with verbatims now is that some are being outsourced to india. Simply junk! Expensive junk! I didn't buy 20-pack, but a small 10-pack. Good product, great price. This Verbatim product is considered the best out there for recording and storing of high-volume video data on DVD and it's provided at a great price too. Great Value / Great Product. My husband had been searching for awhile for these and was very happy to find them at a reduced cost. The Best. These burn perfectly. A Few Coasters. I used the Memorex DVD+R DL DVDs before buying the Verbatim ones. Veratim are the best. I tried other brands and they are costers now, Verbatim are the best. No problems yet. Working on my second 20pk and haven't had a bad burn yet. Finally! I have finally found a cheaper replacement to the Sony DL discs!

Excellent! Verbatim dual layer discs work great. The best dual-layer DVD media out there. Period. It's pretty common knowledge that Verbatim makes the best dual-layer DVDs. I always use Verbatim DL. Its the best! Great. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. The discs have worked just fine (using a LG burner)no problems incurred thus far, would recomend to anyone. Best Blank Media Around. I love these blank disks. Very reliable and works perfectly. I brought this from amazon not from different reseller. The delivery was very slow. It took a long time for me to receive any kind of order confirmation. Disappointing results - 33% coasters. I have not had great success using these. Great product. THE VERBATIM DVD+R-DL DVDS WORKED GREAT.

Quick review - GREAT DVD-R-DL. This is just a really quick review to reiterate what others have said. A little bit expensive. So far no coaster (4 of 20), a little bit more expensive compare to single layer, but it is one of the best deal for double layer dvd. Still The Gold Standard. I purchased some Amazon DVD+R DL discs in the hopes of reducing my per disc cost, but the quality was extremely sub-par and resulted in bad burns. Works like a charm. I have bought and gone through two spindles of dl Verbatim discs now from this page this year. No recording problems again. I ahve never had a recording problems with these disks. The only Dual Layer media to use! Not all DVD media is created equal. Hard to find Media. The verbatim DVD+R DL 8. 7.96GB, not 8.5GB. Tried a few so far (with Nero) and it worked fine. Just got mine, made in Singapore! The good ones! I just received mine, it is the good ones made in Singapore. Great. Burned 8 discs already at 2.

No coasters so far. I've used a number of brands of blank media, and I've definitely had more problems with other brands than i have had with verbatim. Awsome DVD's, work every time. These are great, I went through a whole spindle of memorex dl dvd's and they all failed on my mbp. Great. They work great. Worth Every Penny. These are the top quality discs. Just plain work. So far I haven't had any problem when burning these discs.

Just purchased by first pack of Verbatim dual layer discs and every single one of them burned without error. The BEST dual layer DVD. I found I can use cheap single layer disks but not cheap dual layer.

Just one word, "VERBATIM" Really there isn't anything to say. Worked great for me. I've used Verbatim CD-Rs in the past but this is my first use of any burnable DVDs and I must say so far so good. Very Reliable. I use these to back up photos and home movies and make some home movie DVDs on my computer, and they have been very reliable so far. Verbatim DVD. These DVDs work great.

Never a bad Verbatim for me. I have used at least two packs of these Verbatim 8. It's an Crap Shoot. In the past year, I've burned dozens of cakeboxes of Verbatim DLs sold in purple shrink wrap. Good Value and so far so good. I purchased this product in March and so far no coasters. PERFECT. These are the best quality you can buy. Simply the best. I can't say with any degree of technicallity what burner I'm using but I've burned these on 3 computers (mostly using DVD Decryptor) and have never had a failure in over a hundred burns. Not as good as they use to be. The last two I ordered has been giving me failure rates of 25%! 7 out of 7 Sucessful burns! I've heard many great things about this brand, so I went ahead and bought me a batch for my burning needs. Expensive But Worth It. Bottom line, these are the most reliable and easiest to burn dual layer disks out there. Don't believe naysayers! I saw that review claiming Verbatim aren't reliable any more because some are made in India now - BS. Great - Made in Singapore. My batch was made in Singapore.

VERBATM DVD+R DL 8.5GB 2.4X 20 pk Spindle. Best quality dual layers on the market tried several brands such as HP and Memorex and they don't compare to quality. Awesome. These DVD's are much better than the memorex every single discs burned without an issue. DVD DL Verbatim. I have had no issues with the disc. Great DL DVD. I use my discs for movies and data. Great DVDR DLS. These do their job spectacularly. It works very well. I have purchased this product in Feb 2009. Best DL media period. This is the only DL media I have had consistent success with - out of 50+ burns I've had one failure - and I think it was my computer's fault. Burn @ 4x- no problems. I've gone through 200+ of these discs over the years and cannot recall a bum burn. 100% Perfect Burns at 6X. I hear all the gripes out there about burning problems with DL discs, the truth is these problems are almost always your burner & NOT the discs. 50% failure rate. Why?

Verbatim is a great DVD. I only buy Verbatim and Yuden DVD. Works. What can I say about a product like this? Good quality, no duds. Good quality. these are very high quality dvd's every burn so far has worked. A few glitches. I purchased the Verbatim brand because I read many positive reviews about it. Nothing is "Perfect", these are the closest. The Verbatim DVD+R DL and their other blank media work the best for me. The King Is Dead ... Long Live The King. Thinking of buying Verbatim 2. Verbatim DVD+R DL. I use nothing but, Verbatim to backup on DL DVD's. These DVDs burn well. These disks work consistently well in my DVD burners, having Nero CD Speed "quality scores" in the high 90s (out of 100).

Good quality dual layer DVDs. They served the purpose, and did not give me any errors during burning. No duds and no more wasted money! When I first began to back up my DVDs, I wasted a lot of money using other "famous" brands because I would end up with many blanks that were unable to be recorded. They're Just NOT That Into DEPENDABLE Blank Media ! Most of my experience with blank DVD media has been with stand-alone DVD Recorders. Best media, at least compared to the others. Tried other brands (Memorex, Playo), but Verbatim is the most reliable for DL - very, very few coasters. This is 1st Class Media MKM001. The actual media info from Media Code Block is MKM001. No coasters. DVDs have produced no coasters that were caused by poor quality, only caused by user error (too many tasks while writing in background). 99% reliable. I've burned well over 100 of these discs (some the old made in singapore, some of the made in india, and now some of the brand new made in singapore again ones) and have only had 1 coaster from the India pack. Great Product. Verbatim by far is the best (DL) capacity DVD, this is the only brand I have been using since I got my DL Burner and not once have I had a coaster. Used to be reliable. I've used nothing but Verbatim for years. These DVD's work, and that's what counts. Considering the number of reviews I've read about poor quality dual-layer recordable DVD's, I'm happy to say I've had no problems with these Verbatim discs (my batch was made in Singapore, FWIW).

Woudl recommend these. Hi i purchase them on 01/30/2009 and i can only say this "verbatim discs are verbatim discs", i have always trust this brand since 1999. Not working with a Sony drive. The first five of five disks failed with a Sony DRU-810A drive. Never a problem. I had problems with another brand but my memory fails me on its name. Only bad side is the price. I have bought atleast a dozen of these double packs and have never had a single coaster! First time trying this brand...... After reading all the reviews & updates to the older reviews on the various brands of these type of DVDs (Dual layers) I decided to go with these & boy am I GLAD! The best around...for what its worth... DVD+R DL discs are not nearly as dependable or compatible as standard DVD-R and DVD+R. Used to be reliable. Verbatim DL used to be by far the best DL media available. Yeah! No Coasters. I had some dvds that I wanted to copy. Same as retail media. Media is the same as can be purchased at a local retailer. No coasters! These double layer +R DVD's have recorded flawlessly.

I'll never use this! Almost half of the total package was failed to burn on my Pioneer dvd+R writer. RW? Not so far. The main reason I decided to spend extra money was to get a quality RW. Verbatim DVD+R DL 8.5GB 2.4X 20pk Spindle. Could not use these discs with my system - had to give them away to someone else. Excellent. I'm using a Sony DRU-820A burner. GREAT PERFORMANCE FOR LITE-ON BURNERS. I have an older Lite-On DVD burner, and it can be finicky about the media I use. This is Verbatim. No problem at all. So far, excellent results. I was quite concerned about finding a DVD +R DL that would work. Reliable media for a good price. Great dual layer media that is extremely reliable even when slightly scratched. High Quality Media. 20 discs and not a single coaster. Great for 360 Backups. I have used about 5 of these for backing up my original 360 games.

100% perfect burns & durable. I got 20 of 20 perfect burns using these disks and Toast 7 on a G4 Powerbook with a SuperDrive. DL you can trust. I bought a 20 dl pack from amazon last month. Terk HDTVa Indoor Amplified High-Definition Antenna. It is a good antenna, but not really any better than the cheaper one I already had, which was a bit disappointing since I had hoped it would bring in more stations than the cheaper one did. Doesn't Work. After spending hours fiddling with this it doesn't work. Mostly bad. Not rating on its reception. Terk HDTVa. This antenna seems to work pretty well, but it is just way too big. Very Easy Setup. I live in Surprise, AZ and soon as I connected the antenna I got all of the channels. Sorely Disappointed. So after hearing about this antenna from a few folks on the AVS forums, I decided to get one for my buddy up in Birmingham, AL. It really works! 100% clear digital signals! You will LOVE IT! I do live somewhat close to L. Reception where there was none - - I bought this antenna for my son and daughter in law - - they had rabbit ears - no cable - every channel was fuzzy and blurry - - - Now they get almost all of the non subsciption HDTV channels with crystal clarity - - - and much better reception on all of the analog stations - - - what a difference for a nominal price - - I can't say enough about it! HD reception with out the cable bill. This antenna works great! Not too good. Plus seller discouraged/refused return/refund. I've used 5-6 antennae's the only one that really works is a true Yagi 3-5 ft long pointed at the transmitter.

Amazing! I bought these products for my feonsay using her credit card. OMG - it works! We decided not to get $150/month cable. Bad Design. The reception is ok, but this antenna will tip over if you sneeze in it's direction. Get an outdoor model. Well, this antenna looks interesting, but I found the reception spotty at best. Not so hot near Dallas For me, where I live between Dallas and Fort Worth, this thing as useless. Excellent indoor antenna. Before I bought this product, I read other people's comment. Makes a Lovely Paperweight. And also gave my children an amusing exhibition of what it was like to try to tune in a station on a TV circa 1963. Minimal reception improvement over cheaper models. I live about 10 miles west of Philadelphia - and I suspect that location has a lot to do with the various experiences shared on this antenna. Works great. The only thing negative I can say is that I wish more detailed instructions came with it, we had to tinker with placement for about 15 minutes before finding the right angle to get a good signal. It's good enough. This product seems to be identical to the HDTVi, except for the included, but separate, in-line amplifier. It works in my area. After reading the reviews here, I am not sure if this antenna will do his job.

Great HDTV Antenna. I live about 17 miles from the farthest antenna and all 20 Digital stations are coming in with an 85 or better signal. Pleasantly surprised !! Works for my "rural" home. We live about 40 miles from the closest tower. Terk HDTVa. Good build quality. Dont BUY IT. Fairly Helpful. Somewhat helpful in getting more channels v. Necessary, But the Tuner Really Makes the Difference. I purchased a Vizio L32 TV from Costco that came with an integrated HDTV tuner to receive over-the-air (OTA) HD broadcasts. Signal is worse than using cable line as antenna. I was using my existing cable line as my antenna (which runs outside my house and up to the 2nd story) for a while which worked OK most of the time. Terk HDTVa Indoor amplified HD Antenna. It looks very cool. Great product but poor base design! I get great local channel reception. Excellent indoor antenna. Very good reception of local ATSC channels. Good indoor reception antena. I looked through some of the reviews here and it appears that a lot of people just comment on whether it works for them or not. It Works! Before committing to a monthly fee for HD programming from your cable/satellite provider try an indoor antenna.

Whitewater, Wisconsin is a typical small, dystopian college town about 45 miles from both Madison and Milwaukee, where all of the major stations are. Simply amazing. I tried this antenna over a four day period, spending time each day and night to try to receive some HDTV transmissions. Atlast something worked. Just switched to DishTV. Product was useless in the city of Chicago. I live in a residential neighborhood in Chicago. It worked very well. I had low expectations of this antenna but our useless cable provider has no HD converter boxes available so it was worth a try for $36. Fantastic Indoor Antenna. We wanted to get rid of cable; we had over 250 channels and maybe watched just 10 of them. Worked great until it quit working. it worked great until it just quit working. Terk HD antenna. Received 10 to 15 channels including local HD. It works! Bought it from Amazon. Bay area hill shadows solved. The San francisco Bay area is beautiful but the hills block the tv reception, and the Terk HDTVA solved the reception problem. Decent Indoor HDTV Antenna. I live about 12 miles from the TV towers, and this antenna gets most of the HDTV channels most of the time. An amzaing antenna. This antenna is the only one, out of many other so-called "HDTV" antennas on the market, that can capture off-the-air HD signals and deliver beautiful HD images to your HDTV. Waste of money. Reception to the Max! I bought an HDTV in December and have been getting by pretty well with my RCA antenna which was 30 bucks, but I'm now adding Dish Network HD and decided to get another antenna so I could watch HDTV while I'm recording HDTV thus requiring 2 sources. Great Antenna wish I purchased it sooner.. For starters, the Terk HDTVa is the amplified version of the Terk HDTVi. Satisfied Customer. The antenna is very directional. I started out with a basic Radio Shack bunny ear antenna, and it worked alright when I lived near a city. Terk HDTVa Indoor HD Antenna. I am no more than 15 miles from the local TV stations and all stations are south of our house, essentially on the same azimuth. Very Good Reception For Being In The Middle Of Overcrowded/Overpriced/Overrated L.A. I do have to turn the unit a little for FOX 11, but that's to be expected for an indoor antenna. The best ever! The best antenna you can ever buy! The antenna that works. I am in an apartment in a concrete jungle. I was 100% satisfied. I was really skeptical when I bought this antenna since the reception in my condo sucks a big way. Beats others I've tried. I bought an RCA flat antenna at the same time and for nearby broadcasts (I live in SF, not far from Sutro Tower) that was enough. Awesome Antenna. I had a basic uhf/vhf non-amplified antenna and was able to pull in 12 channels in the Bay Area; with this Terk HDTVa antenna, I could receive 60+ channels! Finally An UHF Antenna That Works. I tried four amplified antennas with varying success.

Works great! I never knew that you could get HDTV over the air but when I did some research, I fount out you can! Ok for the price. I had the antenna for 2 weeks now and I did receive more channels but you still need to move the antenna around to get the reception you need. Works better than the non amped version. I had the non amplified version of this antenna previously and in my location, it worked okay but I did get some drop-outs and HD scrambled signals at times. Good Antenna with Great (but not Excellent) Results. Works well for local stations. We have Directv without HD so we needed something inexpensive to get the local stations after purchasing an HD tv. Forget this and get an Eagle Aspen outdoor for indoor use. While this amplified XMas tree indoor antenna got mostly very good reviews, I found it to be not so great. Terk HDTVa Works! Amazing - I get 14+ HD channels with this antenna. Get TV easily. Hello everyone, I recently got the Terk HDTVa Indoor Amplified High-Definition Antenna because with hulu and netflix and so on I just did not want to pay for cable any more. Your results may vary... I have found the Terk indoor antenna to work realitivly well indoors once you find the correct direction to place it in. Worthless to me. Terk HDTVa Indoor Amplified Antenna. This antenna is very good looking, but I returned it because even though it is an amplified antenna it gave me the same reception as my rabbit ears antenna. Doesn't work. We started with only four channels on the tv using an old rabbit ear antenna. Picks up signals very good. This antenna is currently used in a basement and I'm about 15-20 miles from the broadcast antenna. Not Perfect but Good. Please keep in mind that this is an indoor antena - so don't expect it to perform as outdoor atenna would. Not compatible with cable. I received this product in the mail today. Didn't pull in the channels. Bought it because of some good reviews and the look. Not Needed with Elgato Eye TV. To take advantage of HD capabilities of the I-Mac, reviews recommended this Terk antenna. A Teriffic Antenna. I bought this amplified antenna when I got a second HDTV and I'm completely satisfied. Great Antenna. Its a great antenna, but don't expect it to work any miracles. Beats the #%*** out of its predecessor for my Sony HDTV. The prior HD antenna I was using to get over-the-ground local HD broadcasts was very directional, even for the UHF channels and would not "pull in" the one VHF HD channel we have. Runner Up Antenna. I live in a townhouse surrounded surrounded by other townhouse buildings and my TV is located in the greenhouse window of my kitchen. RCA - ANT1650. I had heard positive reviews of this antenna by RCA. I like but its not for me! The one station that I did receive came in crystal clear but all of the other stations are 40+ miles away and the signals are to weak. One of the best antennas on the market. This is an excellent antenna. Great choice for digital TV reception! Device works fine, but for all the technology that is says it has, I really don't see any difference/improvement in reception than I do with a good set of rabbit ears which are at least half the price.

Wow, this really works! I have a 2 bedroom, with cable only in one bedroom, so I had to resort to a splitter to get cable in the other room. Worked great for my cable modem problems. I split my coax cable to go to my cable modem and a TV tuner card. WOW SOOOO FAST!!!!!!! This is the best amplifier ever! Great For Apartments Too!! When the cable company added a whole bunch of new digital channels recently I was only able to tune about half of them. Hey, this thing WORKS. The cable company servicing my rural area is, well, just awful. Used with Antenna Reception. I used this product to help with antenna reception. Great Picture. Ever since my cable company installed digital cable in my house I have had picture problems. Cleared up my cable signal. This worked perfectly to improve the picture and audio on my Comcast (non-HD) cable, which was fuzzy before. Not for a latop tv tuner. The signal tuner amp is for a home set up and way to big for a latop. Superb. I was pleasantly surpised.

Saving Useless Calls to my Cable Company. I had two problems: Our house is 200 feet from the cable connection, and the inside of the house is wired with older RG59 coaxial cables rather than RG6. A perfect solution to an unavoidable problem. One of the worst things about living in a city with only one cable company is that you deal with whatever service you have. Save some $ My Radio Shack signal booster worked fine at nearly half the cost. Works well except for Comcast VOD. I was surprised to see how well this booster worked for me. Solved all my problems. My ATSC Antenna-Only Experience. So here's my situation: I have a nice CLEARSTREAM2 Antenna mounted on my roof and I live just over 4 miles from the nearest cluster of antennas. Motorola signal booster. Hooked up the motorola signal booster to the cable leading to our new Plasma and improved the picture a lot even though we don't have digital cable service. Big Boost. This boosted the number of stations I could pull in on my antenna from 19 to 33. Very good product. Very easy to install and does what it claims to do, which is make a cable signal which was borderline unwatchable on some stations to ghost free. NIce Amp. This guy amplifies your incoming antenna signal. Marginal. I'm in a fringe area and I experienced a 5% to 10% boost in signal strength after installing this unit. TV SIGNAL AMPLIFIER. This amplifier has enhanced the signal quality of my television but the TV still blinks off sometimes. Not the booster's fault. The booster didn't fix my problem but it's not the booster's fault. Works exactly as it should. When I got my new Tivo, I hooked it up directly to my cable, and I got no channels. I Got My Channels Back. A second after installing the Motorola Signal Booster, I finally got to see all of the stations I had been missing.

This product does not do what it claims it should do: increase the signal reception. This is the one! I purchased this to boost the signal strength of my cable connection (TV and internet) and it worked exactly how it was supposed to. Significant but not perfect inprovement in picture quality. I split my cable signal four times (with a nice 4 way spliter right at the source) and many of the lower channels (<30) were very fuzzy on the longest split (~100ft of RJ-6 coaxial cable to a TV analog input).

CABLE SIGNAL BOOSTER. First booster arrived defective but replacement is working perfectly and has met all my expectations. WOW This Thing Really Works. The cable TV signal in my house was progressively getting worse. Corrected low signal on digital cable. Worked exactly as advertized. Works as promised. My Comcast downstream signal was coming in at -14 dBmV(Ideal is -5 to +5 I was told). Excellent Product except cables came with it. This amplifier works as stated. Good and not so good. Well This booster will help with the incoming stream the range on most modems are -15 to +15 so if you are below this or on the threshhold say like -14 it should help. Worth It! Cleared up some but not all. this product improved the picture of most of the lower channels. Good Buy. Comcast in my area is horrible & there were channels that I couldn't even watch because they kept cutting out & getting help from them was impossible. It just works. I had just switched my internet from DSL to cable. Great for Over the Air Antenna Reception! Most of these reviews focus on digital cable (which is understandable) but this amplifier also works wonders for over the air digital TV as well. Didn't work for me. I have comcast highspeed internet and digital cable. Solved my cable problems. Some of my channels weren't coming in well. Works Great for HDTV. Works great with ON DEMAND! Comcast digital service suffered from weak signal. Does a great job I had been using a radio shack splitter and amplifier for years (the 1-to-4 Bidirectional Cable-TV Amplifier). Booster. We decided to add an in-line booster because of using a signal spliter.

Amazing product. Initially, I had a low expectation on this item since I was using Radioshack cable signal booster without any much improvement. Works GREAT with analog cable! I just installed this product to boost my analog cable tv signal to two tvs on the second floor of my my home, probably 50-75 ft from the cable entrance in the basement. Only Minor Improvement. I saw only a minor improvement in my RV which has an amplified antenna. Didn't improve cable signal at all. I installed this unit today, hoping to clear up some of the "grainy-ness" introduced by 'splitting off' my cable connection. Good, I guess. Prior to purchasing the Motorola amp, I purchased and installed the TERK AMP-15, which worked very well (until the cable company did a disconnect recently and apparently short-circuited the input). Not designed to improve TV reception. I can barely get a TV signal, so I got this Motorola thing, which did no good. Very Satisfied. I have about 10 connections in my house between cable router and TV outlets with two TVs running HDTV. Works as it claims. several of my hd channels were not coming in great or at all. I live in a second story apartment with only a small balcony and I did not want a big ugly antenna mucking up what small outdoor space I have. This one works!!! I think my Tucson apartment is enveloped in some sort of electromagnetic shield, because even though I have a line of sight to the towers 15 or so miles away, good reception has been scant since I ditched my $65/mo cable bill. Great Little Antenna! Antennas Direct DB2 Multi Directional HDTV Antenna I was undecided between the DB4 or the DB2 but prefered the smaller size of the DB2.

Excellent reception for the DB2. Bought this for an attic installation, 17 miles from the transmitters of downtown Chicago. No More Cable Bills! Get this antenna and get rid of your cable TV. Surprisingly sensitive. I wasn't sure what my reception was going to be like, since I live close to 3 towers but in a very hilly area, and 30+ miles from another. Antenna is excellent...for digital signals. i put this in the window. Good but similar models can be found for less. I bought this model and it works well, giving me a solid lock on UHF channels from about 30 miles away. It actually works......really well!!!! I originally used the Philips Silver Sensor antenna, but couldn't get stable reception. Decent antenna. I got this antenna for my mother which lives on the 2nd floor of a 12 story building, naturally her side of the building is facing exactly the opposite direction of most all of the station antennas in her area. Excellent antenna. This is an excellent antenna that I use INDOORS. Very good. I continue to be very impressed. Great design and a good value. I had been previously using a set of "rabbit ears" inside my house to view over the air HD programming.

I subscribe to Dish Network with Albuquerque, NM locals, but not all of the locals were available in HD (CBS, PBS, etc). Great antenna! I bought the best 2 antennas from wal mart; neither worked. May not be exactly what you need. I'm in the South Jersey area, trying to pull in the Philadelphia stations in an upstairs bedroom. Its not pretty, but it gets the job done. I have this antenna clamped to a Radio Shack desktop mic stand with a gooseneck attachment which is great for finding the signal sweet spot. Works great. Awesome. This outdoor antenna works like champ. UHF HDTV only, no VHF HDTV. This is a great little antenna and pulls in a strong UHF signal. Not a miracle product.
